The Facts of Jumping the Snark

Okay, friends, I confess I enjoyed the aspect of playing along with the author, but...The Facts of Winter was written by Paul LaFarge. A witty young McSweeneyite who manipulates the narrator, Paul Poissel(and the reader), into believing he, himself, is real. But this speaks even more to the point that McSweeney's is too hipster to actually invest in literature in translation. The only way that they will participate in literature in translation is by publishing an American. Oh, McSweeney's, you are too hip for the room--the suffocating, snarky, American room.
