A Big Booming New Tin Drum:  I haven't mentioned the great new blog, Two Words, over at the Center for the Art of Translation and I apologize for that.  Full of legit lit crit about translations, it is worthy of your time.  They have a great audio post of Breon Mitchell talking about his new translation of The Tin Drum by Gunter Grass.

Swensen on France and American Literature:  I am a huge fan of the lit journal Double Change.  For instance, the fourth issue as a great article by poet and translator, Cole Swensen, about French and American writing.  I was turned on to Cole when I read Caroline DuBois' You Are the Business, a deep and affecting book of poetry.  He speaks to French and American poetry, but his insights on translation and how he reads poetry are intriguing no matter if you are a poetry fan or not.
