What's New for January

January of 2011 is well underway and nearing its close.  But just in case you're wondering, things are heating up for the Best Translated Book Award .  All the submissions from last year are being read, recommended, critiqued, debated, slashed, tossed, praised and reviewed by our panel.  Why?  The longlist announcement is right around the corner(January 27th) and I can't believe how good some of these books are.  Meanwhile, if you want to get a jump start on all fiction that's fit to translate, check out my new section, new releases .  It will be updated every month so that you can get an idea of what's coming out from around the world.  Here are just a few of the titles for January:
